Hattie Holland, LCPC

I have a degree in psychology from North Central College and a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University. The majority of my clinical experience is with adults ages 20-50. One of my particular passions is working with couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional and physical intimacy.

My favorite part about being a therapist is watching the resilience and growth of my clients. I love witnessing their “Aha!” moments, watching them shed emotional weight, and providing them with a safe space to learn how to love themselves. I can easily say that I care for each and every one of my clients - and I find myself gaining just as much wisdom from them as they might from me.

My therapeutic approach is one that encompasses warmth, friendliness, a sense of humor, and directness. A client should enjoy their time in therapy and look forward to coming, while also being challenged to be their very best. I feel comfortable tailoring my approach to each individual client based on what works best for them.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my loving husband and taking our son on new adventures. I love to try new restaurants with my friends, attend fitness classes, and read psychological thriller novels. I make sure to take time to enjoy the little moments in life as I find they are the most fulfilling.

  • Virtual therapy can allow you to remain in the comfort of your own home, have sessions on a more flexible schedule, and experience the same results as in person therapy. If you have doubts, request a free consultation and we can talk through any concerns that you might have and ensure telehealth is the right approach for you.

  • At ACS, I offer sliding scale self pay rates. You may submit receipts to your insurance to take advantage of out-of-network benefits if you wish. We can discuss rates during your free consultation.
